I had seen ads for the "Oriente" while looking through the "New York Times" and have always been intrigued by ocean travel between Havana and the U.S in those days. I needed to find out a bit more about the "Oriente" for something I am working on now and have found this site very useful. The images are great, plus lots of information for those interested in travel between Cuba and the U.S during that period.
